1. When you use the Masteos platform
When you use the Masteos platform, the following provisions apply to the processing of personal data.

Masteos has developed a platform (the"Platform"), available from the website https://www.masteos.com/ (the "Website") or from a mobile application (the"App"), that allows its users to search for and manage rental investment properties.

1.2. How does Masteos process your personal data?
As part of the processing of personal data of users of the Platform and visitors to the Site and the Application, the purposes of which are set out below, Masteos acts as data processing manager.

Masteos stores your personal data for the duration of your membership of the Platform, after which it may be stored for a period of 5 years from the end of the contractual relationship with you for evidentiary purposes in the event of a claim or dispute.
If you have never had a business relationship with Masteos the company may, for commercial prospecting purposes, store your data for 3 years from the last contact between Masteos and you. Otherwise, Masteos may store your data for 3 years from the end of the business relationship.
Masteos also stores your payment data for a period of 10 years.
Finally, cookies and other trackers used on the Site and the Application are subject to specific storage periods (see item (iii) below).

When you enter into a property search or sales contract with Masteos, the following provisions apply to the processing of personal data.

2.2. How does Masteos treat your personal data?
(i) What personal data does Masteos collect and how does it use them?
Masteos may collect personal information about you when you interact with the website, especially when you sign a search or sales order. The personal data that Masteos may collect includes, but is not limited to those listed below:
- the contact information provided by you (first name, last name, e-mail and telephone number)
- identifying information from your identity documents when provided (name, date and place of birth, mailing address, etc.)
- information on your professional and financial situation (income, current loans, professional category, bank details, etc.)
- photographs of the interior of your home.
According to the Applicable Legislation, these personal data are necessary to fulfill specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and will only be used by Masteos exclusively in the case that an adequate and relevant legal basis allows it.

(ii) How long is my data stored for?
Masteos stores your personal data for the entire period of the contractual relationship with you, and may extend this storage for a period of 5 years from the time of termination of the contractual relationship with you, for purposes of proof for the purpose of claims or litigation.
If Masteos has never had a business relationship with you it may store your data for 3 years from the last contact between Masteos and you, for commercial prospecting purposes. Otherwise, Masteos may store your data for 3 years from the end of the business relationship.
Masteos may store photographs of your property for promotional purposes for a maximum period corresponding to the term of the mandate that binds us, as provided above.
Likewise, Masteos stores your payment data for a period of 10 years.
3. When a real estate management mandate is signed
When you sign a real estate management contract with Masteos, the following provisions apply regarding the processing of personal data.

In the context of the processing of the personal data of the ordering customers, the purposes of which are set out below, Masteos acts as data controller.

- contact information you have provided us with (name, last name, e-mail and phone number)

- information on your professional and financial situation (income, current loans, professional category, bank details, etc.)
- photographs of the interior of your property.
In accordance with the Applicable Legislation, this personal data is necessary to fulfill specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and Masteos will only use it in the event that an adequate and relevant legal basis allows it.

4. When you sign our general terms and conditions for a construction project
When you sign our General Terms and Conditions for a work project with Masteos, the following provisions apply to the processing of personal data.

4.2. How does Masteos process your personal data?
Within the framework of the processing of the personal data of the clients' principals, the purposes of which are set out below, Masteos acts as the party responsible for such processing.

Masteos may collect personal data about you when you interact with Masteos, especially when you sign a work project. The personal data that Masteos may collect includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- the contact information you have provided (first name, last name, e-mail address and telephone number);

Masteos stores your personal data for the entire duration of the mandate binding us. These data may then be stored for a period of 5 years from the end of the contractual relationship with you, for evidentiary purposes in case of any claim or dispute.
If you have never had a business relationship with you, Masteos may also store your data for 3 years from the date of the last contact between Masteos and you, for the purpose of commercial prospecting. Otherwise, Masteos may store your data for 3 years from the end of the commercial relationship.
Masteos also stores your payment data for 10 years.
5. Provisions common to our services
5.1. To whom do we transfer your personal data?
We may transfer your personal data to service providers for the above-mentioned purposes, including
- IT service providers, for the purpose of hosting your data and for the maintenance of our systems
- service providers in charge of accounting
- service providers in charge of newsletter management
- service providers in charge of the presentation of real estate loan transactions
- notaries, for the completion of the real estate transaction;
- Masteos group companies.
In the case of a transfer outside the European Union, we check in advance that the supplier or partner offers sufficient guarantees with regard to the Applicable Law (in particular by means of the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission).
If our company is sold or merged with another company, your information may be disclosed to our advisors, as well as to any prospective buyer and its advisors, and transferred to the new owners of the company.
5.2. How do we protect your personal data?
We use appropriate technical and organizational protocols to protect your personal data, for example:

● we store your data on secure servers
● we employ data encryption technology.
While we are committed to doing our best to protect your personal data, you acknowledge that the use of the Internet is not completely secure and that, therefore, we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any personal data that you provide to us or that is provided to you over the Internet.

- to request its portability to a structured format;
- to request the limitation of their processing

All requests must indicate the personal data you wish to access, rectify, delete or replace or whose processing you wish to limit or if you wish to invoke portability. Your user account information may be requested to facilitate the processing of your request.
Likewise, the Platform offers you the possibility, through a specific functionality, to delete your user account.
If you believe that the processing of your personal information violates your data protection rights, you may file a complaint with the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties.

If we change our Privacy Policy, we will indicate the changes on this page and may also post notices on other pages of the website, so that you are always aware of what data we collect and how we use it at any given time.
